Bring the Kids to Artaza Dental This Summer

So the kids are out of school. There really is no better time to bring them to the dental office than during the summer months. It’s the perfect time for dental cleanings, taking care of cavities, and mapping out the rest of their year to achieve great dental health.

Artaza Dental takes care of the kids in the Katy area. We love making sure all of our young patients have great oral health. Keeping young teeth clean and healthy should be a priority for parents, and our dentists go over the importance of keeping teeth healthy. We discuss the reasons why it is so important to brush twice a day, as well as floss and rinse daily. Our goal at our Katy dentist office is to ensure kids have healthy and strong teeth and gums.

Free Time Should Also Be Dentist Time

The kids are sleeping in and prepping for late nights with friends and/or video games. During the span of time they are awake and not out and about enjoying their time off from school, a dental appointment would be prudent, especially if they have experienced some oral discomfort recently. This is an ideal time to address any needs they may have, like dental fillings, dental crowns, or even removing wisdom teeth.

Summer and Junk Food

We all know that kids love to eat terribly during the summer. This includes sodas, candy, pizza, burgers, ice cream, and everything else that should be consumed in moderation. All of these products can cause damage if teeth aren’t cleaned out properly and in a timely manner.

So if your little one likes to eat and drink sugary foods, then be sure they are maintaining their teeth by brushing and flossing. They should be brushing at night before bed and in the morning after waking up. They should also floss before bed as well.

Keep Kids Teeth Healthy. Come to Artaza Dental.

There is no need to wait to come to the dentist now that the kids are free from school. Make their appointment today and bring them to our Katy dentist office when it is convenient for you. We look forward to seeing you and the kids.
